Syzmik’s Rugged Cooling Range increases breathability by more than 110% and increases tear strength by over 70%.

Heat Stress is one of the biggest problems affecting tradies at work, as not only is it extremely uncomfortable – but can result in serious injury or death in extreme cases.

The Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011 (AS) sets out the standards for employers to put plans in place to reduce the risk of heat stress.

Syzmik’s Rugged Cooling range of work shirts and pants have revolutionised the way cool workwear has been developed. To help the body with cooling Syzmik set out to create a fabric which would not only increase breathability but would also allow the body’s sweat to evaporate and dry quicker.

Syzmik has created the rugged cooling range with 100% cotton, with a square weave construction which allows maximum amount of air to pass through the fabric.

Other features have been added in like; vented tape and mesh venting to increase breathability further. In doing this, Syzmik has also made the fabric more durable by developing a rip stop construction in the fabric which uses a thick reinforcing thread throughout the garment to make the fabric stronger without limiting the breathability.
