Want to Know More About the Embroidery Process?
You’ve probably heard the terms screen printing, embroidery and digital transfers thrown around before, but what exactly is the difference between them?
Screen printing uses a water-based ink that is applied to the garment, while embroidery is stitched onto the garment. Digital transfers use an iron on application, which is an affordable option for orders under 10 garments and has vastly improved over the last 10 years.
Focusing on embroidery, this is a great way to spice up any company’s corporate wear uniforms, as it’s more elegant than screen printing, or digital transfers.
Embroidery designs are incredibly flexible, as it allows customers to mix and match uniforms, meaning that you don’t need to have all of the same style of garments embroidered. This is also a good way for smaller companies to customise their uniforms without the hefty price tag.
What does the embroidery process involve?
- Customer will enquire about embroidery for their uniforms.
- The customer will need to then provide us with the artwork for their logo.
- We then digitise this logo.
- We create a sample of the logo. The reason we do this is because, we want to ensure that the colour and size are exactly what our customers are after. By providing samples, this ensures that there are no mistakes moving forward.
- Customer signs off on the designs.
- Once the design is approved, we go ahead with the order. Simple as that.
